on 15 feb I 'replaced' the main page with the most recently saved version. the current page was full of viagra spam. woo, hoo...

---- I would even suggest to start a meta electronic book: I mean a kind of hybrid of a wikibook and the wiki themes developed here.

I also believe links inserted in the main pages should be restricted to Mathematica web pages. If need be, users may insert a link to their web site (assumed to have a more general purpose) in their presentation page of the user list (may we insert a direct link to the user list in the left pane ?).

I think there should be a more prominent link to the FAQ's on the home page - probably under "Navigation". I'm sure that is more useful than some like "My watchlist" or "My contributions".
